Written by Anthony Demangone, Powered by NAFCU

Priorities check-in time!

What are the three most pressing issues in your personal and work life?

How much time did you spend on them this week?

Alright. I know some of you groaned as much as I did. All too often, we spend too much time on trivial things. But we have control of our schedule, time, and attention!

On to this week’s reading pile!

  • The future of the office is cozy. (Bloomberg)
  • Has a default cycle started? (MI)
  • OCC possibly hired Fintech Chief with a completely bogus resume. (FinTechBusinessWeekly)
  • Gen Z mental health seems to lag behind other generations. (SHRM)
  • Employees would be happy if they received a 50% raise. (WSJ)
  • Where are millennials moving? (Digg)
  • Here’s how you are probably annoying your coworkers. (FastCo) Self-awareness is the ultimate superpower!
  • Amazon is partnering with Hyndais online. (Forbes) The article says consumers can use their chosen financing option, but I really want to see how that materializes.
  • The perfect conditions. (Godin).
  • Focus on the first 5% of a meeting. (FastCo)
  • Always look for improvement. (Shep Hyken)
  • The share of Americans who are mortgage-free is at an all-time high. (Bloomberg)
  • Things change: Exhibit # 1,356. The biggest delivery business in the U.S. is no longer UPS or FedEx. (WSJ)
  • Study Groups. (Godin)
