Starting Out...

Written by Anthony Demangone

Starting out is hard.

Startingout

 Things may look too complicated.

  • Problems appear everywhere.
  • Confidence evaporates.
  • Self-doubt bubbles up.
  • You feel alone.

The other side of that coin seems better, but isn't. Things may seem too easy.

  • This can't lose.
  • The cup of confidence overflows.
  • Doubt? Seriously? Come on, this can't lose!
  • You don't solicit feedback on certain issues. And why would you? This. Can't. Lose.

I have a dirty little secret for you. Starting out isn't easy? It never gets easy.

Everyone has that false perception of over-complication or ease at times. There's one sure cure.

Communicate. Communicate. Communicate.

It un-complicates the complicated.

  • Others have gone through this before. And found solutions.
  • Brotherhood builds confidence and taps down useless self-doubt.

Communication brings taps down over-confidence.

  • You can't see every problem.
  • Soliciting feedback is a win-win. It not only helps you, but bolsters others.

Starting out isn't easy. Managing isn't easy. Leading isn't easy. But good communication is the balm that soothes what ails you. No matter the affliction.
