The #NAFCUNation Military Appreciation Month Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on May 22, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on June 2, 2023 (the “Promotion Period”). A submission received at nafcu.org/nafcunation discussing how the credit union supports members of the military and/or military families, during the Promotion Period, will be automatically entered into a random drawing for a chance to win one (1) $1,000 donation by NAFCU to a military-focused charity of the credit union’s choice. Only one winner will be chosen during the promotion period. Only one entry per person or email address. No purchase is necessary to participate in the drawing.
Entrants must be employed by member credit unions of NAFCU, be at least 18 years of age, and be a legal resident of the fifty United States, a United States territory, or the District of Columbia. Credit unions represented by NAFCU Board members are not eligible to participate in the sweepstakes. All sweepstakes entries are subject to eligibility review and verification prior to the awarding of the prize.
By entering the sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of NAFCU, which are final and binding. The prize is non-negotiable. Void where prohibited by law. The winner may be responsible for compliance with any applicable federal, state, or local tax liability.
Eligible posts submitted during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win one (1) $1,000 donation by NAFCU to a military-focused charity of the credit union’s choice. “Military-focused charity” is defined as any organization focused on assisting members of the military, military veterans and/or their families organized and exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c). Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries during the Promotional Period. Winners will be notified via email within ten (10) days of the conclusion of the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by NAFCU, and its decision related to this sweepstakes is final and binding. NAFCU will make the donation and explicitly state that it is being made on behalf of the winning credit union. If the prize is not claimed within fourteen (14) days of notification of winning, the prize will be forfeited. In the case of a forfeited prize, a secondary drawing winner will be notified.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, regulation, rule or order, the entry and acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for NAFCU to use the winning credit union’s name, social media name, and winning social media post for promotional or advertising purposes in all forms of media without additional compensation or consent.
