Grinnell, Schools reelected to NAFCU Board; at-large election ballots due May 9

NAFCU members will receive their official ballots via email on April 25 for voting in the association's 2018 at-large board elections. NAFCU members must vote by May 9.

The regional elections are concluded, with both Region I Director Gary Grinnell (Corning Federal Credit Union, New York) elected to a new three-year term and Region II Director Brian T. Schools (Chartway Federal Credit Union, Virginia) elected to a one-year term.

The At-Large (three-year term) race has two seats available; nominated candidates include (sequence determined by lot by the election teller):

  • Debra Schwartz, incumbent (Mission Federal Credit Union, California);
  • Robert L. Fisher, incumbent (Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, Florida); and
  • Francois Verleysen (Signal Financial Federal Credit Union, Maryland).

The At-Large (two-year term) race has one seat available; nominated candidates include (sequence determined by lot by the election teller):

  • Travis Kasten (Service First Federal Credit Union, South Dakota); and
  • Jim Kenyon, incumbent (Whitefish Credit Union, Montana).
