NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger today, in a message that will be streamed live, will champion several strategies that will keep credit unions competitive in today's marketplace during the opening general session of NAFCU's 51st Annual Conference and Solutions Expo in Seattle.

During his remarks, Berger will note that credit unions are still the best deal for consumers despite any current or future challenges and encouraged them to hone in on a vision and strategy for the years ahead. The speech will be broadcast via livestream here at 10:45 a.m. Eastern today.

Following Berger's speech, keynote speaker Michael Tchong will focus on how credit unions can leverage current trends to continue to grow; the keynote is sponsored by Affinion Insurance Solutions.

Winners of NAFCU's 2017 Annual Awards, which recognize association-member credit unions and individuals for excellence and achievement in the industry, will also be honored today.
