Most powerful women in CUs honored

AB logoAmerican Banker Tuesday announced the honorees of its 2023 “Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions,” sharing the stories of 15 distinguished women leading the credit union industry. Throughout the snapshots, each recipient highlighted efforts to strengthen their institution and the credit union difference.

Of note, several NAFCU members were honored this year, including:

  • Pamela Cohen, Senior Vice President of People, Culture, and Administration, Affinity Federal Credit Union;
  • Sherri Thomas, Chief Administrative Officer, Truliant Federal Credit Union;
  • Stacy Armijo, Chief Experience Officer, Amplify Credit Union;
  • Corlinda Wooden, Senior Vice President/Chief Retail Officer, Unitus Community Credit Union;
  • Elizabeth Osborne, COO, Great Lakes Credit Union;
  • Darlene Johnson, Executive Vice President/Chief Growth Officer, Suncoast Credit Union;
  • Meredith Ritchie, General Counsel, Chief Ethics and Government Affairs Officer, Allian Credit Union;
  • Julie Renderos, Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, Suncoast Credit Union;
  • Beverly Anderson, President and CEO, BECU;
  • Leigh Brady, President and CEO, State Employees’ Credit Union; and
  • Mary McDuffie, President and CEO, Navy Federal Credit Union.
