NAFCU adds webcasts on member experience, strategic planning
NAFCU has added two more webcasts to its February lineup, including one Wednesday to help credit unions improve their members' experience and another next week on effective strategic planning.
During Wednesday's webcast on improving member experience, credit unions will learn how to use member journey mapping to more easily identify what actions will have the greatest impact on member satisfaction, loyalty and word of mouth. On Thursday, Feb. 22, NAFCU is offering a live webcast that will teach a framework to help credit unions meet short- and long-term goals, and educate credit unions on how to best use strategic planning to drive strategic decision making. Other NAFCU webcasts this month include:
- "BSA Reports for Credit Union Officials," a live webcast happening tomorrow;
- "Cybersecurity in 2018," an on-demand webcast that becomes available tomorrow; and
- "Breaking Down the NCCO Exam," a live webcast happening Feb. 21.
NAFCU has many webcasts available on-demand through its Online Training Center on issues critical to credit unions, including one offering legal insight to the website accessibility concerns under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Live webcasts begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and are open to all credit unions, regardless of membership or charter type. Webcasts are available on-demand for a year after the original air date. It takes about 30 times for a board to start to be in a new conversation before they start to get their brain rewired to embody the change [07:24] In merger conversations we lose sight of what is important for the member. We need to look at what the continuing organization will look like and what is the leadership the membership and continuing organization need and deserve. [12:39] An educated board and executive team are a sharper team. When you have sharper leaders in the organization good things come from that. [24:22] If we are not taking care of that relationship with the CEO then we are strategically hampered. With a good CEO evaluation, the board is higher performing, the CEO is more attentive to being high performing, and the relationship is high performing and more genitive.
