NAFCU Large CU Summit brings leaders together to discuss priorities

NAFCUNAFCU hosted a Large Credit Union Summit Thursday that brought together leaders from several member credit unions to discuss key issues affecting their institutions and industry as a whole. In addition, the group heard from NCUA representatives.

NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood opened the summit with updates on the agency's relief efforts amid the coronavirus pandemic, the health of the industry, and the new initiative to support financial inclusivity.

The summit's discussion, featuring NCUA Office of National Examinations and Supervision Director Scott Hunt and Acting Deputy General Counsel and Chief Privacy Director Linda Dent, covered a range of hot-button issues, including share growth due to the COVID-19 pandemic, capital requirements, exam modernization efforts, data privacy, and stress testing.

As a member-driven organization, NAFCU develops its bold advocacy strategy via the direct input of members.
