National media highlights NAFCU's efforts to strengthen CUs amid pandemic
In an exclusive interview with Cardrates.com, NAFCU Vice President of Media Relations and Communications Jacqueline Ramsay discussed the association's relentless commitment to strengthening the credit union industry amid the coronavirus pandemic by providing extreme member service.
"Even during the pandemic, credit unions are still calling to join and gain full access to the resources we provide," said Ramsay. "We’ve worked some really long nights, but we do it because we’re passionate about making sure our members not only survive but thrive during these times."
While NAFCU is firmly committed to delivering needed resources to its membership, the association also prides itself on its extreme member service.
"We have an integrated, seamless approach, so no matter who you speak with, no matter what department you engage with, you always have our attention," added Ramsay. "We’re the kind of association where we’re never too busy for you — when you need help, we promptly and happily get you the answers you need."
Since the pandemic began, the association updated and added to its suite of resources and offerings designed specifically for credit union, including:
- redeveloping its conferences into virtual platforms to ensure uninterrupted, top-notch content is delivered to credit unions to help them navigate the changing landscape;
- adding to its robust network offerings by introducing a Human Resources Network and Cybersecurtiy & IT Network; and
- launching a Virtual Roadshow webinar series which featured events covering all 50 states and U.S. territories where credit unions operate.
