Housing finance hearing at Senate Banking Dec. 10
Dec. 4, 2013 – The Senate Banking Committee is set to hold a hearing Dec. 10 on housing finance reform with witnesses from the Federal Housing Finance Agency and the two conserved government-sponsored enterprises.
The hearing will focus on "Fundamentals of Transferring Credit Risk in a Future Housing Finance System. It's set for 10 a.m.
Witnesses include Wanda DeLeo, FHFA Deputy Director for Office of Strategic Initiatives; Kevin Palmer, Freddie Mac Vice President; and Laurel Davis, Fannie Mae Vice President. Ted Durant, vice president of analytic services for the Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation, will also testify.
