CFPB publishes annotated Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure
CFPB on Thursday published annotated versions of the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure documents prescribed by the Truth in Lending Act/Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act integrated mortgage disclosures rule – this time with citations to underlying TILA statutory provisions.
The citations refer to the disclosure provisions in chapter 2 of TILA. The newly annotated documents are linked from CFPB's implementation web page for the TILA rule and are in addition to existing annotated disclosures that track applicable provisions of Regulation Z.
More information about loan estimates and closing disclosures is available in NAFCU's collection of CFPB mortgage rule resources, which includes scope-and-applicability charts, links to webcasts, NAFCU Compliance Blog posts, Compliance Monitor articles and more.
