NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance & BSA Seminar kicks off tomorrow

ComplianceTomorrow, NAFCU will host its annual Regulatory Compliance & BSA Seminar, happening in Louisville, KY, from Sept 27-29, where attendees will  learn to develop advanced compliance skills while staying on top of evolving regulatory trends and hot topics regarding credit union compliance and BSA.

Attendees will also have the ability to renew their NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) or NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) certifications with no exams necessary.

Of note, during the first day, attendees will hear from industry experts on a variety of topics, including NCUA and CFPB regulatory updates. Attendees will have the option to attend sessions on general compliance or BSA topics. General compliance attendees will learn about ACH processing updates, fair lending trends, and can attend a workshop on effective compliance research skills. BSA attendees will learn about what an effective BSA/AML compliance program includes, BSA/AML compliance program risks and assessments, and can attend a workshop on writing SARs
