NAFCU names Marketing Award winners
NAFCU has named 16 winners in its 2012 Marketing Awards Competition and will honor them next month during NAFCU's 2012 Strategic Growth Conference at FireSky Resort& Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.
NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker lauded this year's honorees. "This year's winning entries demonstrate high levels of creativity and strategic focus, key requirements for any credit union striving for success in today's consumer financial services market," the NAFCU president said.
The Marketing Awards Competition recognizes winners in eight award categories from credit unions in two different asset-size groups. This year's winners are:

Pitney Bowes Employees FCU, Stamford, Conn. (less than $150 million)
Michigan State University FCU, East Lansing, Mich. ($150 million or more) - Best Innovative Product or Service
Trust FCU, Chattanooga, Tenn. (less than $150 million)
Vons Credit Union, El Monte, Calif. ($150 million or more) - Best Promotional Campaign
Montgomery County Employees FCU, Germantown, Md. (less than $150 million)
Mountain America CU, West Jordan, Utah ($150 million or more) - Best Lending Promotion
Pioneer West Virginia FCU, Charleston, W.Va. (less than $150 million)
TopLine FCU, Maple Grove, Minn. ($150 million or more) - Best Membership Promotion
North Carolina Community FCU, Goldsboro, N.C. (less than $150 million)
Langley FCU, Newport News, Va. ($150 million or more) - Best Member Newsletter
Tampa Postal FCU, Tampa, Fla. (less than $150 million)
United Nations FCU (UNFCU), Long Island City, N.Y. ($150 million or more) - Best Promotional Event or Service
The New Orleans Firemen's FCU, Metairie, La. (less than $150 million)
First Financial FCU, Wall, N.J. ($150 million or more) - Best Website
Pioneer West Virginia FCU, Charleston, W.V. (less than $150 million)
Oregonians FCU, Milwaukie, Ore. ($150 million or more)
NAFCU is still accepting applications for its Annual Awards Competition, which honors the FCU of the Year, CEO of the Year, Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year from credit unions with less than $150 million in assets and those with assets of $150 million or more.
The competition is open to all natural person credit unions belonging to NAFCU, and there is no fee to enter. The entry deadline is March 16.
