Dovenmuehle Joins the Symitar Vendor Integration Program
[Lake Zurich, IL February 3, 2021] – Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI) today announced that it has joined the Symitar® Vendor Integration Program (VIP). Participation in the program will provide DMI with access to Symitar’s technical resources to enable DMI data files to integrate directly with Symitar Episys on behalf of DMI’s credit union clients nationwide. The Vendor Integration Program is designed to help ensure that Symitar’s customers can easily deploy third-party products.
DMI daily data files for daily general ledger, customer information and branch-payment updates will integrate with Symitar Episys via SymXchange™, a services-based programming interface that enables third-party vendors and credit unions to access the platform’s core data and business rules. The integrity of data is maintained throughout any data exchange because access to business rules and data is managed through a service layer that governs these interactions.
Efficiently sharing data between a credit union and their mortgage subservicer is vital for up-to-date internal and regulatory reporting as well as driving downstream application requirements. Standardizing this integration with Symitar will reduce the cost, effort and time needed for new DMI credit union clients using Episys® resulting in easier to use and more reliable information.
DMI is extremely excited about being a VIP member. According to Mike Wilkinson, Vice President at DMI, “as a mortgage subservicer, we are always trying to increase efficiency and reduce the effort our clients need to efficiently share data. Symitar’s VIP is a great program that will provide direct benefits to our mutual credit union clients through a standard integration process with extensive quality controls.”
Symitar’s VIP takes the customer out of the middle, providing vendors with direct access to Symitar’s technical resources and test systems. VIP inclusion is not an endorsement of the vendor’s product.
