Hear from Rep. Luetkemeyer at NAFCU Congressional Caucus

CaucusRepresentative Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., has joined the lineup of lawmakers set to address credit unions during NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus, happening September 11-14 in Washington, D.C. Luetkemeyer serves as Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee; he is also a member of the House Financial Services Committee where he serves as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions.

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger along with several members of NAFCU staff met with Luetkemeyer in June to discuss several topics of importance to credit unions.

Of note, the lawmakers currently scheduled to speak at Congressional Caucus include:  

  • Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee;
  • Rep. French Hill, R-Ark., member of the House Financial Services Committee and Ranking Member of the Housing, Community Development and Insurance Subcommittee;
  • Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions; and 
  • Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Minn., member of the House Financial Services Committee.
