NAFCU's offices closed July 4
July 3, 2014 – NAFCU's offices are closed Friday for the Independence Day holiday, but members still have full access to the association's website and, by extension, its publications, event listings, regulatory compliance resources and more.
NAFCU's next webcast, "The 7th Rule: Unintended Consequences for the New, ‘Simplified' Mortgage Disclosures," is scheduled for 2-3:30 p.m. Eastern July 9. Speakers are John Levonick, chief legal and compliance officer for Mortgage Cadence, a NAFCU Services Preferred Partner; and Suzanne Garwood, a partner at Venable LLP.
Registration is also still available for NAFCU's Annual Conference and Solutions Expo, July 22-26 in Las Vegas. NAFCU members and nonmembers are welcome.
The next NAFCU Today e-newsletter is scheduled to go Monday. UPDATE will publish as usual July 4 but will be posted online tonight.
