Official ballots sent today for NAFCU Board election
The official ballots for voting in NAFCU's 2019 board election are being sent to members today. The deadline for returning the ballots is May 8.
Candidates on the slate are (incumbents designated with an *):
At-large (three-year term)
Todd Cain – Emery Federal Credit Union (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Jan N. Roche* – State Department Federal Credit Union (Alexandria, Va.)
Eastern Region (three-year term)
Frank Mancini – Connex Credit Union (North Haven, Conn.)
Brian T. Schools* – Chartway Federal Credit Union (Virginia Beach, Va.)
Southern Region (three-year term)
Jada Kelley, CPA – DuGood Federal Credit Union (Beaumont, Texas)
Lonnie Nicholson – EECU Credit Union (Fort Worth, Texas)
Western Region (three-year term)
Jackie Hoonjan – Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union (Eugene, Ore.)
Robin L. Romano – MariSol Federal Credit Union (Phoenix, Ariz.)
Keith Sultemeier – Kinecta Federal Credit Union (Manhattan Beach, Calif.)
Roche and Schools are incumbent directors running for reelection. Western Region Director Richard L. Harris (Caltech Employees FCU, California) this year will complete his third consecutive three-year term, the maximum permitted by NAFCU's bylaws. Southern Region Director Charles A. Rutan (Southwest Airlines FCU, Texas) is not seeking reelection.
All elected candidates will take their board post following the close of the association's annual business meeting this June in New Orleans during the 52nd Annual Conference and Solutions Expo.
