Upcoming virtual BSA School takes CUs BSA/AML compliance to the next level
Credit union compliance professionals are encouraged to attend NAFCU's upcoming Virtual BSA School where attendees will be equipped with the information needed to understand the core Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations impacting credit union operations.
"The Bank Secrecy Act is critical to your credit union's performance," said DuPont Community Credit Union BSA Manager Stephanie Painter, an NCBSO-certified compliance professional set to speak during the event. Throughout the virtual event – happening July 20-22 – NAFCU staff and industry professionals will provide a toolkit of strategies and insights during sessions tackling a variety of topics, which include:
- customer due diligence;
- customer identification programs;
- beneficial ownership requirements;
- suspicious activity reports; and
- currency transaction reports.
