Webinar to highlight key features of SBA's loan origination platform

webinar computer screenNAFCU is offering a webinar today to provide an overview of SBA One, the Small Business Administration's (SBA) rule-based loan origination platform. By discussing how to enroll in the program and key features and functions, attendees will learn how to easily navigate the platform.

NAFCU's Kaley Schafer will moderate the webinar and will be joined by Christopher J. Anthony and Klemis Batista from BNY Mellon. Participants will be able to submit questions at any time during the broadcast. The webinar will review:

  • what is required to begin using SBA One;
  • the enrollment process;
  • benefits of using the system;
  • how to originate loans via SBA One; and
  • how to maneuver through the Documents section of the platform.

Registration for the webinar is free, but attendees must register. Learn more about it and register here.

NAFCU works closely with the SBA to improve access to credit union small-dollar loans to small businesses across the nation. NAFCU Gail Jansen last week testified before a House Small Business subcommittee on ways to strengthen the 7(a) loan program and preserve a credit union's access to capital by not raising fees on small lenders and small businesses.

Visit NAFCU's Online Training Center for information on available webinars, start times and registration. Webinars are available on-demand for a year after their original air date. Participants have the opportunity to earn various education credits for attending NAFCU's webinars.
