NAFCU supporting CU champions during 2020 elections
With the 2020 election season well underway, NAFCU remains committed to supporting credit union champions running across the country. For credit unions looking to join NAFCU's advocacy, the association has a new resource page available and its Grassroots Advocacy Center to ensure candidates understand the issues facing the industry and our priorities.
While presidential caucuses and primaries have been occurring across the country for more than a month, Super Tuesday last week was the kick off to congressional primary season. NAFCU monitored several races and the night saw wins for credit union champions.
Tomorrow, six more states will hold presidential primaries and caucuses, and Mississippi will also hold its congressional primary. NAFCU will continue to engage in key races and back candidates who have track records of supporting credit unions to ensure a regulatory environment in which the industry can grow and thrive.
Growth remains NAFCU's No. 1 priority, and its 2020 legislative and regulatory priorities are all developed with credit union input to ensure the industry's continued success. Learn more about NAFCU's priorities and see the association's advocacy team in action.
