Today: Navigate PPP with NAFCU webinar
How can credit unions navigate the Small Business Administration's (SBA) paycheck protection program (PPP)? Today, NAFCU is offering a free webinar to provide expert guidance on the process for offering loans through the new program created by the CARES Act.
In efforts to help credit unions better understand the process for offering loans and serve their members, NAFCU also developed an FAQ document answering 22 questions on the program. Additionally, the association sent a Final Regulation Alert to member credit unions detailing the interim final rule implementing the program.
During the webinar, set to begin at 4 p.m. Eastern, Wolters Kluwer's Executive Vice President and General Manager of Compliance Solutions in the Governance, Risk & Compliance Division Steve Meirink, will:
- review the basics of the SBA program;
- highlight the most pressing market needs; and
- discuss the best ways to make the program work for your members.
While the webinar is free, registration is required.
The webinar will be available on-demand for one year via NAFCU's Online Training Center. Access all of the association's resources related to the coronavirus here.
