This week: President Biden’s proposed budget for FY 2022, NAFCU's Q2 Member Webinar

The House and Senate are in session this week, NAFCU's advocacy team continues to fight for industry priorities and the association will continue to keep credit unions informed of key regulatory and legislative updates. Capitol Hill

House and Senate committee’s are holding several hearings of note this week, including:

  • the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday examining the digitization of the the dollar; and
  • Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will appear before the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday and the House Ways and Means Committee on Thursday for hearings on the President’s FY2022 Budget.

In addition, Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Eastern, NAFCU's Q2 Member Webinar will be held. NAFCU-member credit unions are encouraged to register and join NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and other association leaders to review of the first half of 2021.

During the webinar, a panel discussion featuring NAFCU's Government Affairs Team will tackle topics ranging from the association's latest advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and with regulators, economic updates, and the latest on President Joe Biden’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2022.
