Law enforcement, FBI discuss BSA compliance with CUs

Attendees asking questionsLaw enforcement leaders and agents from the FBI are in Minneapolis today at NAFCU's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Seminar to discuss firsthand how sophisticated criminals get away with money laundering schemes and typical investigation methods. The seminar concludes today.

Attendees will also hear from a panel of NAFCU experts on marijuana, hemp and CBD banking challenges and practical application of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements for program development.

Also today, seminar attendees have the opportunity to demonstrate their BSA knowledge and preparedness to deal with the unique threats facing credit unions by earning the NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) designation.
