Don't miss out: NAFCU virtually supports CUs' education goals
As part of NAFCU's commitment to providing credit unions with forward-thinking, educational programs and trainings, the association has developed a number of events and opportunities specifically designed to help bridge the social distancing gap. From virtual conference events and webinars to online communities, NAFCU has unique offerings to deliver credit union professionals with the insights and tools they need now.
As the world continues to adapt to the uncertain circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, NAFCU's upcoming State of the Industry, happening June 25, will provide valuable insights and information straight to credit unions.
During the unique event, underwritten by Mastercard, the association's award-winning staff and other industry experts will equip industry leaders with the data, trends, and key takeaways that are necessary to make urgent decisions amid the coronavirus pandemic and beyond. The virtual event is complimentary, but registration is required to attend. View the full agenda here.
Throughout June and July, NAFCU will be hitting the road – virtually – for a roadshow webinar series featuring more than 20 events targeting individual states and regions.
During the virtual events, NAFCU executives and staff will lead discussions on how the global crisis has impacted the industry, what credit unions can expect from a regulatory and legislative perspective in the coming months, and strategies to move forward. Information will be tailored to address what credit unions are seeing in their individual states and regions.
Virtual BSA School and Virtual Regulatory Compliance School
In response to lingering uncertainty and concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic, NAFCU pivoted the upcoming BSA and Summer Regulatory Compliance Schools to virtual events.
During Virtual BSA School – happening July 20-22 – compliance professionals will have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to protecting their institution from money laundering threats and learn strategies to coordinate and monitor Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn or recertify for the NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) designation. See the full agenda.
Virtual Regulatory Compliance School will occur over two weeks, from July 28-30 and Aug. 4-6, and help compliance professionals build their comprehensive understanding of regulations that impact daily operations and review compliance basics. Attendees are also able to prepare for and test to become a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO). See the full agenda.
Registration for both events is available online.
